ACT Police: Recruitment Campaign

Screencraft produced nine 90 second videos and three 30 second TVCs and a radio spot for ACT Policing to promote the ‘You’d make a great cop’ campaign. The aim was to promote ACT Policing by showcasing the variety of roles and possibilities within ACT Policing. Nine subjects were interviewed against a green screen and asked a variety of questions, ranging from what they do in their job, why they joined, and how they feel about their job. The interviews were then edited down to a compelling 90 seconds and overlayed with vision filmed of each subject at work. The vision was treated in After Effects. Three TV commercials were created and aired on local commercial television and are on the ACT

Policing website. The radio spot was a combination of the three subjects featured in the TV commercials. ACT Policing was very pleased with the end product and all aspects of our service, and our work led to what became a successful recruitment drive.
