DBCDE Digital Switchover TVC

Screencraft was commissioned by DBCDE’s contracted advertising agency BMF to develop and produce the national TVC communicating the national transition from analogue to digital television (the ‘Digital Switchover’). The national campaign has several messages about the switchover it needed to communicate to a wide variety of demographics and target audiences. As some of these messages are technical, it was important to ensure the message was clearly delivered and understood. With an incredibly tight nine-day timeline, the crew of 42 people worked long days to ensure the RED rushes got to the edit on time. Screencraft’s in-house post-production team, including Phillip Tibballs and Scott Wombey, worked jointly with, Cutting Edge Compositor and Cutting Edge Colourist on the edit, composite and grade through to final master.
The end result is currently on air in Queensland and is expected to run intermittently over the next two years across Australia.
