Safe Driving DVD Australian Defence Force
Screencraft was commissioned to produce the DVD ‘Safe Driving’ to reinforce the safe driving of motor vehicles as part of the Australian Defence Force’s treatment program for soldiers returning from overseas deployment. Prior to their return, the soldiers are taken through various decompression treatments to prepare them for their return to civilian life. The production highlights the risks associated with inappropriate behaviour on returning to driving in an Australian civilian context. The audience is guided by a presenter through an officer’s first 24 hours on return from deployment. Screencraft was responsible for all facets of the production and editing, including filming, provision of autocue, sourcing and managing talent, with the exception of script development, which was provided by the Department.
