Dave Budge is a documentary, music video and TVC director based in Melbourne.
He specialises in creating content for cross platform use, particularly web and television broadcast, but his first love is crafting over the top music videos.
With 13+ years of digital design, video and advertising experience. Dave as been involved in some of the most innovative and successful digital campaigns in Australia before moving full time into video and film in 2008.
Dave was previously the Creative Director at the largest digital agency in Australia ‘Visual Jazz’, working across many clients including military, retail and technology sectors he helped VJ become the highest rated digital shop in the country. Before that he spent 6 years running his own video and multimedia business.
He has written articles for industry magazines, judged awards and taught at both Deakin and La Trobe University. He recently shot the feature film "Face to Face" directed by Micheal Rymer in Melbourne and produced the feature film "Grey Matter" directed by Kivu Ruhurahoza in Rwanda. Both films have won numerous international awards. In his spare time he directs music videos for the blog www.sideshowalley.tv both in Melbourne and New York City.
