ASC - Australian Sports Outreach Program Video Series
Earlier this year, Screencraft was engaged by the Australian Sports Commission to produce a series of videos about the positive impact Australian Aid is having on South Pacific communities through sport.
The Australian Sports Outreach Program (ASOP), is a range of programs designed to help address primary risk factors associated with non-communicable diseases, particularly physical inactivity, and support people with disability by improving the quality of their lives, including by increasing their inclusion in society.
Our team travelled to Fiji, Tonga, Nauru and Samoa, to record the progress being made through this program in the empowerment of women, the social inclusion of people with disability, combatting kidney disease and community cohesion in Australia’s near neighbours. We produced six video vignettes featuring interviews with local community leaders, health officials, ASOP employees and sports participants. Screencraft’s Arri Amira produced cinematic footage that showcases the beautiful island scenery, including grand waterfalls, seaside vistas and lush green foliage.
