Toby Finlayson

Cinematographer and Editor

Toby‘s passion for storytelling stems from his ability to shoot and edit. Looking at each project from the editor’s perspective, he has developed a signature cinematic style for Screencraft.

While he was at university, Toby worked on personal film projects including short action and horror films, giving him a love for tomato sauce and requiring him to have knowledge in all aspects of the film production workflow.

Toby’s beautiful work been recognised by the Australian Cinematographer’s Society with two Silver Awards; the first for Liv Li’s music video “Silence” and Navantia Australia’s brand film “What Drives Us”.

Toby holds a Bachelor of Media Arts and Production from University of Canberra.
